On the occasion of Labor Week, a special ceremony was held yesterday, May 10, in honor of the workers, in the presence of a group of workers and regional officials.
At this ceremony, Qasem Mirzadeh, head of the region, offered his condolences for the unfortunate incident in Bandar Abbas and stated: "The role of workers is often mentioned in religious teachings, and earning a living legally is considered a form of jihad in the path of God."
Referring to the Supreme Leader's designation of the year as an investment in production, he added: "The role of workers is essential to the realization of the year's slogan, and without their presence, it will not be realized." Referring to the Sirjan Special Economic Zone's reputation for green spaces and urban services, he said, "We are grateful for your efforts, dear friends, and without your cooperation, this region would not have prospered." It is worth noting that due to the unfortunate incident at Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, no celebration was held on Labor Day, with workers instead receiving gifts.
