According to the report registered in the National Employment Monitoring System for the year 2024-2025, Sirjan Special Economic Zone was able to achieve more than 100 percent of its employment commitment.
According to the regional public relations report, the Sirjan County Employment Working Group meeting was held at the Governor's Office. Based on this report, based on the allocation of a commitment of 300 people to recruit labor and register them in the National Employment Monitoring System by the Provincial Employment Working Group, Sirjan Special Economic Zone managed to register more than 300 people in the National Employment Monitoring System, which played an important role in the total employment of Sirjan County. Accordingly, the city governor honored Mr. Vahid Kharazmi, Director of the Special Region Labor and Services Unit, with a plaque of appreciation. It is worth noting that Sirjan Special Economic Zone is the first special economic zone established by the private sector in the country, which started operating in 1993 with the permission of the Cabinet of Ministers. Despite all the problems on the way to development, it has managed to accommodate more than fifty active industrial units so far, which has led to the creation of a total of 3,300 direct jobs.
