The Sirjan Special Economic Zone issued a statement expressing its condolences following the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and inviting the public to attend his funeral.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, following the alleged martyrdom of His Holiness Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Sirjan Special Economic Zone issued a statement expressing its condolences for this immense loss to His Holiness the Imam (peace be upon him), the noble nation of Iran, the families of the martyrs, veterans, and all free peoples of the world, and invited the public to attend his funeral with due pomp and solemnity.
The statement reads: Throughout its glorious history, the great Iranian nation has always overcome the most difficult trials with dignity and authority, relying on faith, unity, and adherence to the noble ideals of the Islamic Revolution. Even today, although the passing of the wise and courageous leader of the Islamic Revolution has plunged the Iranian people and Muslims worldwide into deep sorrow, this event cannot diminish Iran's dignity, independence, and progress, and the glorious path of the Islamic Revolution will continue to shine brightly.
The message emphasizes once again that Ayatollah Khamenei dedicated his life to defending Islam, the independence of Iran, the dignity of the nation, supporting the oppressed, and safeguarding the values of the Islamic Revolution. His name and memory will forever be etched in the collective memory of Iran as one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Iranian history. The Sirjan Special Economic Zone also emphasized the unifying role of popular participation during key events of the Islamic Revolution and announced: “The massive and fervent presence of the people at the funeral of the late Supreme Leader of the Revolution will be a demonstration of national solidarity, a renewal of commitment to the ideals of Imam Khomeini (RA), the martyrs, and the Islamic Revolution, and a sign of continuing on the path of dignity and independence for Islamic Iran.”
The statement further specified: “All employees, workers, industrialists, investors, economic actors, their families, and all citizens of Sirjan County are invited to attend the funeral in large numbers to pay tribute to the memory of the late Supreme Leader of the Revolution and to demonstrate once again their unity, cohesion, and loyalty to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.” Finally, the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, while expressing its sympathy to the Iranian nation, prayed to Almighty God to grant the deceased a high rank and the company of saints, and to bestow patience, peace, dignity and pride upon the great Iranian nation.
